One day I will sit down in front of my laptop, and I will log in to this blog.

I will choose a new theme for the blog, even if it means slogging through theme after theme, in an hours-long search which will eventually result in the perfect match.

I will then probably spend several more hours customizing and tweaking that design, ordering the content, and sorting out the layout to the last detail.

I will add links to relevant websites including several of my own. I will most likely add new posts and new pages.

Eventually I will add an section entire section dedicated to poetry, as well as another section dedicated to photography, and probably several more after that.

Then will come the laborious but entertaining process of adding, tagging, titling, organizing, and captioning hundreds of photographs and poems, one at a time. And then there will probably be more after that.

Since it has been my decision to actually make this a personal blog, I will probably add a photograph or two of myself.

But that’s another day, and possibly many days from now.

The fact is I have many projects, and many things to do. This particular project will have to wait its place in line. But I would far rather do it this way than to bit-and-piece my way through the creation and construction of this particular site, while hectically trying to complete all of my other incomplete projects at the same time.

Until then, I welcome you to visit any links you encounter on this site. And if you would like to be informed when the blog is ready to come of age, please subscribe to be informed of future updates.

Meanwhile this blog remains here as it is, gray and simple in its infancy, its little heart full of hopes and aspirations for a great future.

If you are wondering about the name of this blog – Anna Vera is my pen name, and I am known by that name by many friends as well. Some people know me by my other name, and that’s okay too. A name for all seasons, I suppose.

“Vera” rhymes with “scare a” or “bear a,” not not “steer a” or “fear a.” It is not pronounced like the ‘Vera” in the Pink Floyd song, even though she bears some remarkable similarities to my blog (will meet again some sunny day).

Thank you for coming! And I hope you will come back again in the future, when things are less “gray.” Until then, I hope I will catch up on everything as well …
